This Privacy Policy describes how KiwiKitsNZ (the Site Owner or we) and the owner of firstaidkitsNZ.nz (“Site” collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.

Order information

Examples of Personal Information collected: name, email billing address, shipping address, payment information (including email address, and phone number).

Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfil our contract, to provide customer support, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

Customer support information

Payment information such as credit card numbers are not held by us unless you expressly volunteer to provide this information to us to enable us to manually process your purchase through our third party processor. All online purchasing is handled by an acreddited third part payment processor. We do not get to see the credit card information. Once you have confirmed your order, your credit card details will be processed by our banking partner, Payment Express (now Windcave). All financial transactions are encrypted for security. Some customers may choose to use Paypal to make payments. PayPal is designed to be safe for buyers. It's a secured platform, and does not display any credit card or bank information to other users. Your personal and financial details are securely encrypted to ensure your money and information stays safer when you pay with PayPal.

We do not share your purchasing information with service providers unless these are our off site depatching agents or couriers for the express purpose to process orders.

Customer information collecting and Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site. In its Terms of Service, Google Analytics clearly states that users of the service must have a Privacy Policy in place. This is necessary in order to comply with privacy laws that require certain disclosures and protections for the management of personal consumer information.

When you place an order through the Site, we will retain information retaining to processing payments, billing and customer interaction for our audit, customer support and records unless and until you ask us to erase this information. We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data.

As required by the Privacy Act 1993, we follow strict security procedures in the storage of personal information that we hold in order to keep the personal information that we hold safe.

Shopping online at New Zealand Trade Merchants Limited trading as KiwiKitsNZ is safe. We never keep your credit card number on our web server—in fact, we don’t even see it. We accept Visa, MasterCard and PayPal. Your credit card is debited by national payment processor, Payment Express (now Windcave).
